Cue the Ukeleles

Yesterday I passed over the Rainbow Bridge and am now in Heaven or the Elysian Fields or Nirvana or whatever you would like to call THE BEST PLACE EVER NOT ON EARTH.

This is sad news for Staff and Scully, who I had to leave behind. For me, not so sad. Apparently, when you get up here, you get all of your body parts restored and repaired. So I have a full set of chompers, my front set of claws (which had been removed by the staff before Staff) -- and my MOJO. In full working order. So, to all of the lovely girl angels in their flowing white gowns, let me just say (in my best 1950s Jerry Lewis impression) HELLOOOOO YOUNG LAAAAADIES!

And after that I'm going to knock back margaritas and chow down on some really fresh ahi tuna with my buddies @DCKitty and @Buckypg at the Last Chance Saloon over on Saint George Cloud.

So don't cry for me, Argentina and Australia and America and all points beyond. Remember me fondly.

If you'd like to donate a little something in my memory, please consider Kings Highway Cat Rescue c/o Avery and Avery, 5005 Avenue M, Brooklyn NY 11234. If you want to donate online, go to https://www.justgive.org/nonprofits/donate.jsp?ein=11-3220610
and use my email Mulder.Cat.Twitter AT gmail.com. It was Elaine Avery at Kings Highway who organized our job search for new staff and found us Staffpurrson, which worked out pretty well for all concerned.

(Oh, the ukeleles? Those are for the Israel Kamakawiwoʻole version of "Over The Rainbow.")

And... that's all, folks. It's been a pleasure.

  1. Bless you Mulder. You touched a lot of people and their lives were better for it. Gone but never forgotten.

  2. GO GET 'EM MULDER! Those girl kitties won't know what hit them! Scully and Staff purrson are safe and we'll keep them company!

    Much Love Brofur!

  3. Mulder as a ladies man... that's pawsome, eh! I live with 4 lady roommates - watch out for the high maintenance ones. They want things like expensive designer toy mice, high end canned tuna, and pricey blankets. *MOL*

Have fun big buddy! Let me know if you meet that famous cat Morris. He always seemed like a good pawman (or wingman as the humans call them).

  4. The girl kitties better watch out! A New Jersey mancat with Mojo is a dangerous thing. MOL

  5. Although all of us at Kings Highway Cat Rescue are sad to hear about your passing, we are comforted by the fact that you were loved deeply while you were here on earth. You were blessed with a loving, dedicated and kind guardian during your time here.
Enjoy your new journey over the rainbow bridge. Watch over your guardian until you meet again.
P.S. If you see an American Bulldog named "Nikko", up there, give him big hugs and kisses for me.

  7. Say hi to my sisfur Majel who went to the bridge in September. She is a cute white cat with calico tail and lovely little mark on her forehead. Glad you feel young again! But so sad for staffpurrson and Scully.

  8. Mulder, Scully and Staffperson... I am so, so sorry to hear that Mulder is at the bridge. It was such a shock to hear he'd passed.

My heart hurts to know I'll never get another Muddlecuddle... but I know you're there making sure Inigo gets enough cuddles.

I have *RUMBLECUDDLES* for Scully and Staffperson, I know they probably need them.

Oh crap, Mulder. Is this one of those times when you and Scully go into a trance inside some huge underground fungus and hallucinate that you're doing something, like going OTRB?

I'm guessing not, but it's always nice to think we can just open our eyes and you and the others will be sitting there waiting for a treat and some cat grass.

  13. Hi there, I was poking back in the twitterverse and stumbled upon M's passing - my condolences to Staff & Scully. You may remember @OrangeGene (another orange tabby)...he preceded Mulder to the RB by about two months. Party Hearty, Orange Kittehs.
